DraMus Summer Camp

DraMus provides the student interested in music and/or theatre ample opportunities to develop their talents, expand their creative horizons and strengthen their skills while having lots of fun!!!!

Singers wishing to develop their vocal technique and musicianship skills will have vocal ensemble classes, musical theatre class and a vocal performance class.

Instrumentalists will have music ensemble classes, Music theory and Composition Classes, Performance and Master Classes. Instrumentalists will be grouped by instrument and level of performance skill. (Winds, Brass, Percussion, Strings, etc.)

Actors and future writers/directors will enjoy the Improv, Commercial Acting and Film Class, Period Plays, Production Class, Theatre Voice and Musical Theatre coaching.

All DraMus students will experience Stage Movement & Combat,
Improv classes, Performance workshops in music and drama and specialty classes in make-up, costuming, set design, microphone technique, Show Business “How To’s” and Guest Artists.

Each 4-week camp will perform a musical theatre review and concert at the end of the camp session for family and friends.

Those in both sessions will do a more advanced production.

Private vocal or instrumental lessons may be added for an additional fee.

After DraMus or before DraMus Mini experience the fun of outdoor activities at Adventureland Day Camp. DraMus students will be picked up at HPAC at 1:15pm and arrive at Adventureland for 2 hours of outdoor fun activities of their choice. Students will return at 3:45 pm to HPAC along with Adventureland campers wishing to participate in DraMus Mini Camp.

“MINI DraMus” Mon -Fri 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm Following an afternoon of fun at Adventureland, a school summer “Rec” program or by itself, “Mini-DraMus” includes the Movement, Vocal and Instrumental Ensembles, Stage Movement/combat and Acting classes in condensed formats.
