"The Bucks County Choir & Performing Artists"
The Bucks County Choir and Performing Artists and The Buck's County Children’s Chorus both provide singers with practical performing experience. Bring your voice and prepare for fun!
Public performances for both choirs are planned for community events, holiday and spring concerts. Preseason rehearsals begin in the August, however, singers may join at anytime with conductor’s permission. Repertoire includes classical music, show music and multi-cultural pieces. (All singers audition for placement.)
This year ‘s performances will include a Holiday Production entitiled " King Henry’s Holiday Madrigal Feast ” and recording a Holiday CD. (Spring schedule TBA.) Performances raise money for BCPA Scholarship Fund.
Concert Attire is required for everyone. Call office for details. Conductor: Wendy Hollenbach Hellyer, B.A., M.A., Voice, plus guest conductors.

The Bucks County Choir (Teens/Adults)
The Bucks County Choir and Performing Artists is ideal for those who want a stimulating music experience. Opportunities abound for singers to gain poise and performance experience in solos, duos, and small ensembles.09/08/08 - 06/08/09 — Mondays: 7:00-9:00 pm
Bucks County Children’s Chorus
(Ages 8 - 14, unchanged voice) The Children’s Chorus is excellent for children who love to sing and wish to further develop their musical skills. Perfect for those who want something more challenging than their local school and especially valuable for home-school children or those who attend schools that have no choral program. Music includes ‘Pops’, show music, multi-cultural and classical repetoire.After-School Schedule! Tuesdays: 9/11/06-6/12/07 - 4:00pm - 6:00pm
Transportation options and financial assistance may be available thru the Bucks County Performing Arts Institute.Call office for details.

Voice & Singing Instruction
Private Lessons Available
Throughout The Year Private instruction in voice is usually reserved for teens and adults. (See “When Is My Child Ready For Voice Lessons” – published article by Wendy Hollenbach Hellyer.)
Younger students can develop their musical ‘ears’ and voices by singing in our Musikgarten® early childhood classes from birth – 7years of age and in the Bucks County Children’s Chorus between ages 8 and 13. Evaluations for exceptional children may be requested of the instructor. |
Private Lessons by Special Arrangement
Some lesson fees are higher with “special arrangement” faculty. Call the office for fees. These include: Voice, Violin, Viola, Latin Percussion and Private Acting Lessons.Development Classes / Voice
Voice students are asked to take musicianship class and sing in the Bucks County Choir where they get opportunities to apply their performing skills. Vocal CoachingPolish your vocal style by singing show music, standards and jazz clasics! Learn phrasing, microphone techniques and shading from a professionals. The perfect addition to voice lessons!
