Hellyer Performing Arts Center (HPAC) provides lessons and classes in music, voice and drama utilizing teachers who specialize in their craft. Teachers are not music “generalists” but specialists with their instrument or in the dramatic arts.
Additionally, some professional teachers choose to run their own lessons and classes by simply renting studio or classroom space at HPAC. For those professionals, Studios for private lessons run from $15/hour to $25/hour depending on the size of room and equipment therein.

For example - the drum room has a full set of drums in it. The front studio has a piano and guitar amp, the “piano” room has 2 acoustic pianos and 2 keyboards that are ideal for both private lessons and small group classes and the classroom has a Baldwin upright piano and space for 20 seated student or 8-10 mobile youngers and their Moms.
Other optional services for the teaching professional are the HPAC phone answering, website listing and booking service and/or handling the teacher’s student billing and payment processing.
